It was one of the best meals we had during our 2 week European trip! The steak was amazing, and the hot chocolate was unreal. I highly recommend!

I read about this place via Google, so when we were in Vresse-sur-Semois we went to eat there. The service and food were superb. The steak sauce “Gatsby” was a great discovery. In short we sure come back if have a holiday in the area!

Endroit très accueillant et chaleureux. Le personnel est vraiment aux petits soins de ses clients. La cuisine y est excellente. C'est un incontournable si vous passez dans le secteur. Cela fait 2 fois que j'y vais et toujours aussi enthousiaste

Ce fut une magnifique soirée du début à la fin. En grande partie grâce à notre serveur Manolo (j’espère qu’on l’écrit bien) qui a pu rendre notre expérience incroyable !
En plus de ce chaleureux service, la nourriture fut vraiment à la hauteur de nos attentes. Un petit bistrot que l’on aime par sa convivialité, sa simplicité et son belgicisme familial.
Nous avons pris une entrée à partager incroyablement généreuse et variée. Tous les plats étaient savoureux en passant par l’incontournable carbonnade flamande, les boulettes mémère en terminant par un bon steak blanc bleu belge très réussi. Les desserts ont pu terminer ce délicieux repas (the cherry on the cake).
Nous le recommandons vivement, si vous passez dans la région, vous serez très bien accueilli. En tout cas ce qui est sûr, c’est que si nous revenons en Ardennes nous referons coucou à Manolo.

We discovered this restaurant by chance while staying for a weekend in the Ardennes. It was a wonderful evening from start to finish. Largely thanks to our server, Manolo (I hope I spelled that correctly), who made our experience incredible! In addition to the warm service, the food truly lived up to our expectations. A small bistro that we love for its friendliness, simplicity, and Belgian family atmosphere. We had an incredibly generous and varied starter to share. All the dishes were delicious, from the unmissable Flemish carbonnade and the meatballs to a delicious Belgian white-blue steak. The desserts were the perfect finishing touch to this delicious meal (the cherry on the cake). We highly recommend it; if you're ever in the area, you'll be very well received. In any case, what's certain is that if we return to the Ardennes, we'll definitely say hello to Manolo again. Thanks to him, we had a good laugh. (photo in support) 😄

Gisteren gaan eten met zes personen. Heel vriendelijk ontvangen geweest. Het eten was super en de bediening zeer zeker!! Een echte aanrader! Als je in buurt bent.....zeker doen.

Leur réputation n'est pas usurpée. Super bon steak de la boucherie d'en face, cuisson parfaite, sauce succulente et en quantité. Service prévenant et souriant. Cela vaut la peine d'essayer, mais penser à réserver.

Een aanrader, in ons 4 daagse vakantie zijn we er 2 maal gaan eten. Een fantastisch onthaal door een zeer vriendelijke kelner. Deed goed de moeite om nederlands te spreken en met een zeer goede bediening. Hij had oog voor alles. Voor de chef-kok een pluim. Het was lekker. We komen zeker terug. Super.

Nous avons découvert ce restaurant en nous promenant nous nous y sommes arrêtés et vraiment pas déçus si je pouvais mettre 10 étoiles je le ferai... le steak de mon mari était cuit comme il l aime les boulettes de mémère janick sont excellents et de plus ils sont bien sympathiques ce qui ne gâche rien . Nous sommes de grâce hollogne mais prochaine balade dans le coin nous y retournerons avec grand plaisir.

We discovered this restaurant while walking, we stopped there and really weren't disappointed if I could give 10 stars I would... my husband's steak was cooked just the way he likes it, Grandma Janick's meatballs are excellent and what's more they are very friendly which doesn't hurt. We are from Holland, but next time we're in the area we will be happy to go back.

Ik vond de burger hier echt fantastisch, de lekkerste die ik ooit op heb (echt een aanrader.) heel leuk plaatsje, toetje was ook verrukkelijk en het drinken ook. hele lieve serveerder en de kok was alleen voor een heel restaurant en toch hadden we het eten heel snel, echt een aanrader!

The waiter was very sweet, and the chef was the only one serving the entire restaurant, yet we still got our food very quickly. Highly recommended!

Tijdens weekeinde Ardennen op basis van de lovende beoordelingen hier terecht gekomen. Alle loftuitingen kloppen, het personeel is uitermate behulpzaam en vriendelijk. De Herten biefstuk en Wild Zwijn stoof zijn subliem. Gezellige ambiance, en zeer de moeite waard. Komen zeker een keer terug. Chapeau!
